Review

We had a family holiday for 5 days at Skipsea in August. The whole family enjoyed what was on offer in terms of great food and entertainment as well as a great time in the pool as well as bowling. A great holiday was had by all. A big shout out to Donna in Ents and Phil in security who were absolutely brilliant

This holiday was one of the best times we have had together for such a long while. The place is so family friendly and the staff are so lovely. My 5 year old had the time of his life which was brilliant to watch and enjoy our own time whilst he played and was entertained by the fabulous entertainment team who work very hard. So thank you Paige , Meg, Reece and Donna. Special thanks to Paige and Meg as Jacob wants to stay with you forever so you have made a lovely lasting impression on him and I’m very grateful for you making him feel so happy.

Straight off want to say a massive thank you to Reece, Donna, Paige, Sadie and Meg. You guys are honestly the best and we will miss you's. Mayhem and madness was the highlight of the week and we really enjoyed helping the yellow team win each night. Honestly from start to finish we never stopped enjoying our selves and we will be looking forward to coming back for Halloween. See you guys soon.

We have just returned from our second long weekend at Skipsea Sands over the last 5 weeks, staying in Northfield 382 & 381. The park itself is very well kept, the caravan was spotlessly clean and had all the required amenities for a family self catering break. The beds were especially comfortable with plenty of fresh linen available, you will need to bring your own towels and an extra loo roll, the cheap one provided will soon run out! There are no kitchen essentials provided other than bin bags so do pack a dish cloth, tea towel and washing up liquid. We occasionally ate at the Boathouse and drank at the showbar, the food is on par with a holiday park restaurant, slightly overpriced and nothing special but it was to be expected. The showbar is great for family evening entertainment and we found all staff to be courteous and polite despite previous negative reviews - treat others as you wish to be treated! There is a chip shop just outside of the park entrance that is only open on a weekend for a few hours each evening, but we found their chips were very tasty. The park is a bit out of the way and there is no access to the beach due to coastal erosion so driving is essential. We took a drive to Tesco in Hornsea for our shopping, however the on-site shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. We also visited Bridlington which has a fantastic clean beach, great arcades and a funfair. Overall we enjoyed it so much we will be back again.
